FIRST OF 2019 (with apologies for the long absence)

Both of us wish ALL of you -- our regulars, our non-regulars, all the looky-loos -- and EVERYONE who've entered our ever welcoming doors -- a healthy, happy, prosperous and altogether fulfilling and rewarding New Year.

We've been truly blessed (once again) in 2018. It's been a really terrific year for Mystery Pier. Wonderful books have come, have gone, and been replaced and our gleaming shelves replenished with an ongoing abundance of superb (mostly rare) First Editions, including an absolutely stunning First Edition, First State copy of what is often referred to as the very greatest American novel, Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter.

We were additionally thrilled -- and flattered, and delighted -- to have received (entirely unsolicited) three official certificates of recognition and congratulations from the California State Senate, the California Assembly, and the U.S. House of Representatives, for twenty years as an exceptional business and of ongoing service to the community (these now framed and hanging proudly in our front room).

We remain very, very grateful..... and limitlessly appreciative!
