Highly collectible second draft shooting script of the 1987 Richard Donner-directed blockbuster created and written by the great Shane Black. Followed by three sequels, this is the foundation, and by far the most scarce and most difficult to acquire. In its original CAA covers, this copy is signed, generically inscribed -- Best wishes / Live on the edge! / Shane Black -- by him and he has accompanied this with a wonderful graphic drawing of a man being blown up in a violent explosion. This copy is also signed on the title page by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Stephen Goldblatt. The script is bound in a unique, custom designed fire engine red cloth and silk moiré folding chemise with elegant leather label bearing gilt titles. A superb presentation for a highly desirable and extremely scarce collectible.
