First Edition printing of Churchill's 13 December 1945 speech to the House of Commons focusing on financial arrangements between Britain and the U.S., including final settlement of Lend-Lease and other war claims, as well as the proposal for an International Trade Organization. Collectors please note that this item is not found in either Cohen's or Woods' Bibliography. Though other issues of British Speeches of the Day are noted by Cohen, this particular volume was unknown. This speech pamphlet is bound in wire-stitched paper wraps of the same newsprint-quality paper on which the contents are printed. The pamphlet measures 6x9 inches and is 85 pages in length. Condition, near fine. Due to the topical and ephemeral nature of the publication, the survival rate is low. A very collectible piece. Item #10299
