An extremely presentable First Edition, First State copy of Fitzgerald's seventh book, a collection of stories -- his first book published after the success of The Great Gatsby in 1925. This copy has no battered type, consequently it is the first state of the first edition. Only 10,100 copies were printed, about half the size of the print run of Gatsby. A tight, square, very near fine copy, spine gilt still bright, and protected by a fine facsimile dust jacket. Additionally, it is enclosed in a beautiful custom clamshell box.
