NY: Cape & Smith, (1931). First Edition of Faulkner's very first collection of short fiction. Volume includes now classic pieces, That Evening Sun, A Rose for Emily, Mistral, and Dry September. A very near fine copy in like, very presentable first state dust jacket, not price-clipped (original price, $2.50), which shows sunned spine, as usual, and only the very mildest of shallow chipping, so prevalent with this title.
